After being 6 years postpartum I couldn’t help but wonder “when will I feel like myself again?” I was out for a walk listening to my favorite podcast (Mel Robbins) and the latest episode was about menopause. I almost changed it thinking “I am too young” but I listened anyway.

My mind was blown! Not only was I NOT too young for perimenopause I was experiencing a lot of symptoms that were common in this phase of life. My short temper, new onset anxiety, my new pooch that was not from childbirth, joint pain and a myriad of other symptoms might just be from my hormones fluctuating!

Why had I not heard about this before? Why were we as women not taught about our bodies and what they would go through? I knew I had to DO SOMETHING about it. So I set out on a mission to educate myself.

I help women like you because I AM YOU!

The coffee date that changed everything …

After retiring from a fulfilling career in corporate finance in 2023, I found myself reflecting on my next chapter. My years in the corporate world were grounded in helping people—a passion that brought me joy and purpose. I thought earning my Real Estate License and guiding clients through buying and selling homes would rekindle that spark, but something still felt missing.

I have always had a passion for health and wellness. I started teaching step aerobics in college and eventually received my yoga teacher certification in 2012. I had created a food blog in 2015 to give me a creative outlet for my passions - cooking & wellness.

While having coffee with a friend one day she told me “you light up when you talk about perimenopause and health - why don’t you do THAT for a living?!” Seed planted. Could I? Is that actually something I could turn into a career?

Turns out the answer was YES. So I became health coach and founded Perimenopause Power with one goal in mind: to empower women to truly understand their bodies and take charge of this transformative phase of life.

I turned my passion into my job to help women like YOU know that you don’t have to just survive and suffer during this transition.

My Mission:

A woman with curly hair sitting on a brown leather couch, wearing a dark top and jeans, smiling and looking to the side. There is greenery decorating the wall behind her.

My mission is to EDUCATE & EMPOWER women to understand their bodies, embrace their journey, advocate for their health, and THRIVE through perimenopause with purpose and empowerment.

Menopause marks a transition, not an end. By prioritizing wellness and education, we can turn it into an opportunity for GROWTH and TRANSFORMATION!

There’s a difference between AGING and Aging well.
